Lovely new piece to be listed in 1 minute!

This is a quick note to say I'm about to list a new piece in my Etsy shop. I will be listing some other custom pieces too late night. Thank you for your patience!

This new piece is made of all handmade petals and a lovely vintage brooch. The petals are from a lovely coral colored vintage jacket - recycled! Thank you Holly!

Kate and Russ at the Glen Manor - Photos by Mariah and Melissa

Kate has amazing taste- I was pretty excited when I saw this cool lamp in her bedroom. I call this one... "still life with shoes."
It was fun to rummage around in Kate's closet- she's a real girly girl! She had this cool sign hanging on the inside of her closet door. I thought it was fitting with the dress- gorgeous!!! kate fell in love with this dress befores she and Russ were even engaged- when he proposed she remembered the dress and Voila! here it is!

This is Georgia - she is the sweetest funniest dog I ever met! If she was just a little bit smaller I would have shoved her into my camera bag and kept her for myself.

Aren't these incredible?! The brooch belonged to Kate's grandmother.

Kate is so lovely! My friend and very talented makeup artist Robin Mcaloon did her makeup. She looks so natural and soft.

Meanwhile, the boys are striking a pose for Melissa in Providence near the Biltmore.

Kate and the girls just outside St. Dominic's at Providence College.

It's a beautiful church, full of natural light- just how we like it!

How sweet is that?

Great shot of their exit by melissa...

Cheers! Arriving at the Glen Manor (another Melissa shot)

Melissa was insane for this cake! We managed to have a peice at the end of the night, and it was scrumptious! Chocolate mousse filling, and very moist! Yummy.

I don't know what Elisa said to Kate, but it must have been good!

Grandma's having a good time too. I love the grammies.

We are taking a walk down to the water... that's Kate and Russ wondering if they can make a get away for the cocktail hour!

it was worth the trip... doesn't kate look phenomenal! ?!!

the detailing on Kate's dress is to die for.

First dance...

Hey, who are those snappers? Melissa looks great- she always photographs skinny. What happened to my hair? well- you can tell I am working hard running around and snapping away, I have the crazed hairdo to prove it!

This photo should have been of the person with the less than satisfactory dance moves. Maid of honor Reghan does not approve!

Russ's dad- he did have the BEST dance moves. I tried to replicate them later and was totally unsuccessful- this guy is limber!

And... our last shot. Very romantic. We try hard not to do the same picture twice at weddings... there's always a new nook at the Glen, that's what I love so much about it!

Kate and Russ, hope you are enjoying Turks and Caicos! Don't forget to go to Calico Jack's for keylime pie! How about bringing me back a slice?! Say hi to the seaturtles from me!

New pieces :: On their way to the English Dept. tomorrow

Just posting some pictures of pieces I'll be delivering to The English Dept. in Portland, OR tomorrow.

This one is my favorite.

Nell and Patrick in Jamestown - Photos by Trish and Ara

I met up with Nell and Patrick in June to do a pre-wedding portrait at the location of their wedding reception, a beautiful amazing place where their family spends the summer in Jamestown. As I have mentioned before, we were totally lucky to have great weather all day, thank you!!! They had the ceremony at the chapel at Salve Regina, fun fact, Nell's parents were also married there 26 years ago! I think that they also had a reception in Jamestown. Anyway, it was a fantastic day and here are the photos to prove it...

The puppy was totally un-interested in the chaos going on around him while everyone was running around the house getting ready...

Beautiful bouquets by Stoneblossom, as usual.

This is a Vera Wang gown inspired by Jackie Kennedy's dress, AMAZING!!!

Everyone helped get Nell dressed.

Nell's Dad presented her with a string of pearls to wear on her wedding day, so sweet!

There was so much toole in that dress Nell was lost in it int he back seat of the car.
Arriving at Salve...

A beautiful shot by Ara of Nell waiting for the ceremony to start.

The 'Chapel' at Salve, very beautiful.

A very hot ceremony, whew, we were all really sweating in there!

This place has a major wow factor!

Their exit from the ceremony out to the lawn...
I loved the tiffany blue bridesmaids dresses with the orange.

The tent was absolutely beautiful, green and white chairs created a garden feel.

The wedding party out on the beach, this is their back yard! How lucky!

Yummies by Blackstone catering.

Nell and Patrick coming back up from the beach to the cocktail hour...

How about that view?!

This menu card was so deluxe with the raised printing.

There were these little stone heads at the tables, very cool.

Another masterpiece by Jim Kennedy! There is a little red cardinal in the middle, too bad you have to cut it!

What a great setting, we got so lucky with the weather!

Cool shot of the cake cutting by Ara.

How cute are they?! There are often funny cake cutting moments, this is no exception.

OK, this lighting moment was created by Tony Ormonde, if you are in any way considering doing extra lighting at your wedding, DO IT!!!! I can't tell you enough how much of a difference lighting makes in the photographs, it's amazing how much more interesting and spectacular the photos look when there is additional lighting and spot lights, do it, do it, do it!!!

The room lights changed color as people danced the night away, so fun! Even Nana was rocking out.

Now the tent is blue... another end of the night smooch, got to do it!
