IDOLL MAGAZINE'S pick of the hot new face of the moment.
latest newcomer to nab MOTW
Marilyn Model Mgmt’s Cintia Dicker is looking quite bodacious
and rocking maximum Barbarellarama in her new polas. True,
Barbarellarama is not a real word (say it 3 times) but such is the
power of Cintia… She makes one find new words to express…the
beyondness.
Unsurprisingly, Monica Bellucci, Eva Herzigova, and Sophie Marceau still look pretty without any make-up or photoshop retouch. It’s also refreshing when a fashion magazine like French Elle decides to endorse your personal aesthetic philosophies.

I remember having a hard time trying to categorize this brand when I first introduced it in
January (see here). British designer Alex Pop calls her collection Bodywear, a term more
commonly associated with yoga or work-out clothes, but welcome to a whole new world!
Bordelle’s absolutely refreshing and equally innovative designs have won the praise of
major industry personage including Selfridges Director of Lingerie, Sebastian Manes
and Celebrity Stylist William Baker.
Bordelle is the newest and coolest addition to the Selfridges Lingerie department. Created
by London based designer Alex Popa, Bordelle is a niche and unusual concept in lingerie,
which Alex describes as Bodywear. The Bordelle aesthetic offers high fashion, directional
pieces that can be worn asunder or outerwear. Body conscious lines and a silhouette
bandaged by a mix of ribbons, fabrics and trims are the line’s distinctive signature.
William Baker who is Britney’s stylist, discovered Bordelle and thought it would be the
perfect choice for Brit’s show-stopping return to fashion form. Pieces from Bordelle will
be worn throughout her Circus tour and are also seen on Britney in the forthcoming
video for her controversial single, If You Seek Amy.
Oh flight of fancy! John Galliano took the fashion world by storm by showing us his outstanding (though outlandish) point of view through Christian Dior's 2009 Spring Couture Collection at Haute Couture Fashion Week. We expected nothing less from this outrageous designer who blew us away with billowing layers of silk taffeta, high and low hemlines, Chinese porcelain doll inspired dresses and his endless array of sherbert colored creations! With clinched in waists and billowing skirts, Galliano reminded us about just how fun and fabulous fashion can be. Rock on with your bad self, Galliano!
