Posh Shasta's Beauty Product Of The Week!

Essentially a facial in a bottle. This product has been in my skincare routine for two years, if I could only have one product, this would be it.

Little Winter :: November 6-7th

The wonderfully talented Abby Powell Thompson and Chelsea Fuss have organized the most amazing group of designers, artists, jewelers and more for a handmade market called, Little Winter, which will be November 6-7th at the Ace Hotel in Portland, OR. I'll be one of the vendors so definitely stop by if you are in town and say "hi"! Even if not to say hello to me, come by and support the lovely handmade community and be prepared to find some delightful buys. I am actually really excited to have the opportunity to meet the vendors who I have admired for quite a while. I'm predicting that I'll be walking away with some treasures.
For the last few weeks and probably until the night before, I've been and will be developing some new goodies for the event. New pretties that haven't yet been seen... actually, I'll be enlisting the help of my hubby to help make some of these things. Many of the new products will be at much lower prices than most of the Twigs & Honey pieces you see online - nice things to treat yourself with and maybe loved ones during the upcoming holiday season? ;) I can't wait to show you what I've been up to. Very exciting! Very new! I will also have Twigscent products available AND popular Twigs & Honey styles at deep discounts, so if the new stuff wasn't enough to draw you in, perhaps the latter will be? Lots of everyday pieces! I hope to see you all there! Just a few of the vendors:

Jodi + Tim at Belle Mer, Newport ... Part Two

Posted by Mariah, Photos by Mariah and Trish:

The dry weather continues... so the photo-ing goes on!
Never in my wildest hopes did I think we'd be outside for formal photos today but here we are. I like the seagulls that keep sneaking into all the photos. Jodi and Tim have the sweetest families, not to mention the cutest neices and nephews!

Jodi and Tim, Thank you for having us for your super fun and slightly soggy day. I feel like we were already old friends given the number of weddings we've attended together, but I am so happy I finally got to photograph yours! You've got the baton now... pass the snappers off to someone else! Let's keep this party rolling! xoxo Mariah

Surely Shearling

By Candace Cabrera Moore

This fall, the trends give us the opportunity to play with texture. From leather to lace, there's always something new to try out, and let's face it, fashion is fun because we get to experiment! The focus now is on shearling.

Shearling gives us fashion and function all in one package. The uniform wool not only provides the aforementioned texture for the fashionista to try out, but it also keeps her warm!

The downside of shearling is that it is pretty expensive, but no worries- there is faux shearling readily available.

And as always you can find them at two price points!

Jodi + Tim at Belle Mer, Newport ... Part One

Jodi and Tim, it was love at first sight at Narragansett Beach when they were in their early teens. Stolen glances and stolen Twix bars from the concession stand where Tim worked eventually won Jodi's heart. It's only fitting that we should return to the scene of the crime (literally) or at least that's what we planned. Unfortunately, hurricane Earl had other ideas. We scrapped our beach photo-plan but Earl could not keep us down... we ended up with fun umbrellas which we barely needed and a smile from Jodi that lights up every room. Who needs sunshine with her around anyway?! It's true... see for yourself!

"snap shout out" to Isabella and Nicole, two former snap! brides
(second photo from the top - right)
"snap shout out" to Kylie (second photo from the top- left), Jodi's sister who hired us to photograph the wedding as a gift to Jodi and Tim- NICE!

Coming up next... the formals (outside, thank you very much), and all of the reception fun!
