What a beautiful day we had on Saturday... warm and sunny, a welcome change! I was so excited that Jessica and Phil had such a gorgeous afternoon for their wedding at Belle Mer. They are two of the sweetest people, so if anyone deserves it, it's them!

We started at the Hyatt with some getting ready pics... here is Jessica's dress.

Love the flowers in Jessica's hair, so pretty. Jason at Jacqueline Phillips Salon in Wayland Square Providence did the hair...

Jane Sincere was on hand for makeup. She did a terrific job with soft natural makeup for Jessica and her friend Melissa.

Meanwhile, Melissa is photographing Phil putting on the finishing touches one floor down...

So handsome!

Because Jessica is so clever, she understands that nice light and enough time for photos is essential to great shots! She and Phil chose to see each other before the ceremony so we could take advantage of the daylight. We set them up for a big moment when Phil sees Jessica for the first time... Love it!

So sweet.

Outside for family photos in March? Why, yes!

Jessica was cold, but she was a trooper and I think it was worth it!

Besides, Phil is doing an excellent job with the snuggling.

Broadway Florist did the bouquets and also the ceremony & reception flowers- wait to you see the cherry blossom table arrangements in Part 2, the next blog post.

These are Jessica's nieces, so sweet.

The Big Moment... # 2.

The fireplace at Belle Mer made a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. Reverend Mary Powers officiated, she was terrific - and even stepped out of the photo for the kissing shot. Thank you Mary!

Time for the Party!

The prediction was rain, but the reality was clear skies...sort of. If you were in the Rhode Island area on Saturday you know that it was a sunny and humid day and that by evening it was foggy, really foggy! So foggy at times that it looked like there was a smoke machine going. But at least it didn't rain! We had a great day and everything went off without a hitch.

An emotional moment when mom sees her daughter as a bride for the first time...

Lindsey had a beautiful linen dress by Vera Wang, it suited her so well.

I think this is what you call a 'fresh face', she's so beautiful!

Patrick proposed over a Scrabble game, so I thought this would be a fun surprise for them...

Then Patrick gets this 'look' on his face and is delirious with happiness just looking at his bride. I mean REALLY delirious...(photo by Ara)

Then it looks like Patrick may pass out or something, he chugs water, he looks at Lindsey some more, he smiles at the crowd, he's okay...

But against all odds Patrick sails through the rest of the ceremony in an upright position, success, the crowd goes wild, and is very relieved!

The happy parents of the bride, who wouldn't be happy about their daughter marrying someone who is so nice and in love with her!

Patrick was so cute greeting all of the guests after the ceremony, he was still a little delirious...

The lovely Lindsey...

Patrick is now back to his normal self and ready for anything...something tells me that he will NEVER be able to live that down. But it really was so sweet to see his honest and emotions and sincerity.
