2010 Collection trickling into the online shop!

I've finally had a bit of time to update my online store. I'm redesigning parts of it so from time to time, things might look a little off, but it's all for the sake of making it prettier, I promise.
I've added a new category for Twigs & Honey products: Twigs & Honey Luxe
These products will be for those who want to splurge on the highest quality of Twigs & Honey head pieces. These pieces are very special and unique and are made with extra care and have even more intricate detail work. I hope you enjoy!
I've also added a "rush processing" option for Luxe pieces, which will expand into the other categories with time. More pieces to fill my shop soon! Go HERE to see them all.

New pieces in the Etsy shop

I have a few new pieces for the Etsy shop... a bit of a random mix, but each is very unique and oh-so-much fun!

I found the yummiest, softest, prettiest silk fabric over the weekend and had to fashion it into something. Fruit Punch

This one is fun... you can braid or weave the metallic threads into your hair for a subtle and romantic accent.

Two beautiful Twigs & Honey features!

The cats out of the bag... Twigs & Honey has a new collection (available online very soon!) and I am so giddy over the photos of the pieces by Elizabeth Messina. I've been on cloud 9 looking over the photos... each one is really a piece of art (no, literally! I was telling Matt how you could print any one of them out and frame it for lovely wall art). So dreamy. It was a HUGE amount of work and creative energy to complete the new collection and I thank everyone for their patience with me these last couple weeks! Especially, I'd like to thank Elizabeth Messina for her always, gorgeous photography. I also want to thank Kathryn of Snippet & Ink for this lovely inspiration board today that includes a Twigs & Honey piece:

And I want to thank Abby, of Style Me Pretty, for the beautiful posts on Twigs & Honey and the lovely words. You can view them HERE and HERE.
THANK YOU!!!!!

Stunning Oregon wedding :: via Style Me Pretty

I fell in love with this lovely wedding that Abby at Style Me Pretty blogged about last week. The wedding was held in Salem, Oregon (yes, that is where I live!) and photographed by a favorite photographer of mine, Jessica Hill. The bride, Allie, is stunning and wearing a Twigs & Honey "Flourish" feather hair piece:

Congrats to the couple!
Thank you Abby, for the beautiful post.

New piece in my Etsy shop! :: Champagne wishes

I'm loving the soft and silky texture of this new piece. Most of the petals are shapeable and it's completely handmade:

New piece in my Etsy shop :: Garden bouquet hair piece

I love this piece. I just listed it in my etsy shop! It is entirely handmade (except the vintage millinery leaves) including the fabric feather!

Sneak peak :: A Novel Romance Fashion Show

Here is a sneak peak from earlier Sunday. I'll have more later this week. Overall... BEAUTIFUL! I have so much more to write!

Just a sneak peak.... Sumomo Suki, Sade Williams and Peter Walkowiak

I just couldn't resist but post a couple of the most gorgeous photos! It's oh, only 3 a.m. in the morning (if you factor in daylight savings) and I'm still plugging away as usual, but I simply had to leak some photos. I'm going to post more about this later. This photo was for a shoot for fashion designer, Dorothy Moore of sumomo suki and the photos were taken by the talented Peter Walkowiak of Peter W Photo and Sade Williams of Black Boxx Photography. Check back soon for more!

Laura Ryan Photography

I, like so many out there, am a self described pack rat. Every snippet of ribbon, length of thread, button, and broken sand dollar, I hoard because someday, I'll need it (right?). Well, as for my hair pieces, I develop these little attachments to each one and always wonder, "Did they arrive to the customer okay?" OR "I wonder what adventure it will be taken on?" Recently, I was fortunate to have a wonderfully talented photographer purchase a piece from my Etsy shop. This particular piece happened to be a personal favorite of mine and I was so tickled to see photos of its arrival to Laura Ryan Photography. Laura just so happens to be this amazing photographer (any interested brides - check her out!) and was so kind to snap a handful of photos and send them my way. I am so happy that this piece found its way into the talented hands of Laura! I know she'll take care of my hearted piece and did I mention, Laura is super sweet to boot?! Well, after seeing the twigs & honey piece so nicely cared for already, I feel the grip on my trinkets and odds and ends slightly loosening. Perhaps I shouldn't be so attached after all? I do believe that all the pieces are going to develop wonderful stories with each person who takes one home! Memories, really, to last a lifetime. Thank you Laura Ryan Photography! To all the special brides and ladies who have already or will purchase a piece, send photos when you get the chance! I'd love to see them! Thank you ahead of time.

twigs & honey :: by myra :: New piece in shop!

Just a shop twigs & honey announcement:

After many inquiries about when I'd be listing a new piece in my shop, I made a new one yesterday between orders and have posted it in my Etsy shop. Please check it out! I think it's absolutely darling with baby blues and yellow. It is absolutely perfect for spring (as it was inspired by a random sunny day here in Oregon - land of perpetual rain!). Please convo me if you are interested in a custom order!
